Many of Greeks poils were built around an acropoils. It was the center peace of every city-state in Greece. It was where people would go there to talk about anything they wanted to. The acropolis was also used for a place where people could go when there was a war going on. They used that place to shelter beacuse it was on a very big hill and it would be hard for enemies to kill the townspeople. All the city-states had a different kind of Government. One kind of Government that Athens had was oligarchy the oligarchy was ruled by wealthy men. Then after they did that for a while they went to democracy. Democracy is ruled by alot of people but none of those people are girls. They didn't allow girls to do anything besides working at the house. One city-state that really doesn't have any government is Sparta. All Sparta does is train and do war. Those are the Government's the towns had.
